Two-day course on ‘Seafloor Characterization for Offshore Infrastructure and Marine Planning’

A two-day course on ‘Seafloor Characterisation for Offshore Infrastructure and Marine Planning’ has taken place at the Multipurpose Social Welfare and Employment Space of the Municipality of Larnaka.

The course, which was organized by the Southampton Marine & Maritime Institute (SMMI) and hosted by CMMI has been designed to provide a broad introduction to the technologies and best practices in seafloor characterization for applications such as offshore cables and pipelines, offshore and coastal structures including oil, gas and renewable energy facilities. Emerging technologies and trends have also been highlighted.
